Every session and family I work with is special to me but this one might top the list ....... because it is my own family! This little sweetheart is my little niece Clara and I had so much fun capturing her for her half birthday.
It is hard to imagine how this little lady is already half a year old. It seems like just yesterday we were visiting her in the hospital and meeting her for the very first time. I guess it doesn't help that we didn't actually get to see her 'in real life' for a few months. Zoom was a great option but isn't quite the same. It was so exciting when our bubble expanded and we could see her!
Clara is such a happy baby so it was pretty easy to capture these sweet little smiles.....although Mommy and Daddy still had to do a bit of singing to grab her attention! She loves grabbing her toes and biting her dresses which seems to help with her balance as she navigates sitting up on her own.
She is a pro at tummy time and is sure to be moving quickly and crawling around the next time I have her in the studio. I can't wait!
It is so special for me to watch my little niece grow and capture these memories. I know my entire family will look back at these in the years to come. It is sometimes hard to believe how quickly they grow and it is always nice to be able to look back and remember how little they once were!
