I have had the pleasure of capturing milestone photos for this little lady every year and it never ceases to amaze me how much she changes and how quickly a year flies by! Whenever I have a repeat client I always take a look at our previous sessions to see if there is anything we did or included that we could add to the current session as well. The wooden chair is one of my all time favourite props and is a neat way to see how much she has grown as we used it all the way back to her first birthday cake smash.
I love sharing photos and experiences in my blog, but have been terrible at keeping up (this session was from April!!) I am still doing better than I did in 2023, which was only one blog for the year, but still not so good. I am learning to balance my life as a working mom with an 8-5 job and a photography business side gig and blog posts don't seem to make it to the top of my list. I like to think late is better than never.... so I am going to work through my sessions from this year and get blogging.
I think one of the highlights of this photoshoot was Miss K's smile and expressions. You can really see her personality coming through, making every photo feel authentic and joyful. To me, these are the best kind of photos and will be so fun to look back at them over the years.
