This little man celebrated his first birthday last month with a smash and splash!
He has the sweetest little smiles and did not hesitate to dig right into his cake. I never know what to expect when it comes to cake smashes, every one is unique just like the little birthday boys and girls. Some are terrified of the cake, some dig in right away, and some just demolish the cake, like little Max did! No matter what the sessions are always a lot of fun, and usually get pretty messy.
I had the pleasure of photographing Max's big sisters cake smash a few years ago, and it looks like he has followed in her footsteps as she dug right into her cake as well! I can't quite describe how special it is to me when clients come back and I get to capture these memories of their families as the grow. It is definitely the best part of my job.
