I love capturing some sweet simple photos of the Birthday Girl before the cake smash. It is a great way for them to warm up a little before the smash and there is something so special about these simple photos!
She wasn't too sure about her cake and needed a bit of encouragement to dig into it! You would be surprised how make Cake Smash sessions actually entail a real smashing of cake. I would say the majority of sessions the name Cake Poke would be more appropriate. Whether the little one decides to poke or smash the end result is always the same. Adorable photos that I hope parents will cherish for years to come!
