I first met Dax and his Mama back in September of last year in Mommy Connections and have had the pleasure of snapping his photo every few months since. It has been so much fun capturing him as he has grown and changed over the past year. He has grown into a curious little guy and definitely makes us work for those smiles when the camera is out!
Each cake smash session includes additional milestone photos and this is a great opportunity to include special outfits like a jersey from their favourite team. I couldn't get over how adorable the little football leggings were. I think it is safe to say that this little man is going to be a Rider fan!
This cake smash was a bit unique because the 'cake' was actually a watermelon! This was the first watermelon smash I have done and it was so much fun! Dax was a bit cautious as first but then managed to dig right in. I love the idea of a non-traditional 'cake smash' and would love to do a few more of these! Spaghetti? Tacos? Ice Cream Sundaes? The options are endless.
