There is something special about travelling to a clients home and this family session was no exception! I headed out to Last Mountain Lake in early October when the weather was still decent, except of course for the crazy wind. We can't seem to escape the wind in this beautiful province of ours!
I feel like it is always a bit of risk when I am asked to do a session at a clients home, partly because I am not always sure how to get there but mostly because I am unaware of the location and lighting. Luckily I was able to find their acreage with no issues and their location did not disappoint! They have such a beautiful piece of land and there was no problem finding a place to capture some memories.
I love that we were able to capture their new dog in some of the photos, who was so well behaved for only being 7 months old! I am not sure I would get the same level of cooperation from my doggo who will be 5 in the new year.
This family connected with me based on a referral from my good friend Kathryn, so I knew they would be an awesome family to meet. I am always so appreciative of referrals from clients and I love showing them my gratitude. For more info on my referral program, check out it out here.
