Fall Family Session

This fall has been a whirlwind. It started out with a last minute trip to Ottawa, losing my father-in-law, and then not being able to travel back to Ottawa when he passed away because I caught a bug (that thankfully wasn't covid - but still restricted me from boarding a plane), and last but certainly not least taking a new position at work! With all of that going on it would be an understatement to say that I am a bit behind on my blog and sharing some of the awesome families and kiddos I have had the pleasure to photograph in the past month!

This family was the winner of my Canada Day Cute Kid contest and I can sure see why!! This little man is such a little sweetie! The family asked if they could upgrade the session they won to a family one, and I was happy to capture the three of them together. I first met Erica and little J with Mommy Connections and is always so much fun to work with alumni and see how their little ones have changed since I last saw them. I am seriously always amazed! They grow up wayyyyyy too fast.

If I have learned anything this past year it is the importance of Family. There is nothing quite like a global pandemic and the loss of of a loved one to remind you what is most important in life. That is why it is so special to me to capture memories like this for families. I hope that in years to come they will look back on them with fond memories.
