I did a Daddy Daughter session with this family a few years ago so it was so much fun to do a similar session with her little brother!
One of the things I usually tell families when preparing for a photo shoot is not to be too matchy matchy, but this time their matching was on point! This little guy looks just as cute in his jacket as his sister did in hers a few years ago. Such a cute connection these two have with their Dad.
Winter in Saskatchewan can make choosing a location and dealing with weather a struggle (although this year has been a weird one!), so doing these in my studio was a great plan. While small, it is such a great option for families and little ones during the colder months.
It always means so much to me when families come back time and time again to have me capture their photos. Since becoming a mom myself I know how precious these photos are and I am always honoured to capture them.
