Capturing the Sweet Moments: Noah's Cake Smash Photoshoot

I think Cake Smash photoshoots are still my all time favourite type of session! It is so special to capture this major milestone for families and is always so much fun watching little ones react to both the cake and the mini bath tub.

Both my Deluxe Cake Smash and Smash and Splash packages include photos with a minimalistic background. This is a nice way to focus on your little one and their personality. It is also a great opportunity to include something special, maybe a traditional or special outfit or a sentimental item. This family also wanted to include big brother for a few! I had the pleasure of capturing his cake smash a couple of years ago so he was no stranger to the studio. I do recommend having a plan for the sibling in case they become a distraction during the cake smash portion. The studio is pretty boring if you aren't in the photos.

Little Noah took a bit of time to warm up, but once that cake came out he starting having a blast. While he enjoyed the cake, I think the bathtub might have been his favourite. It was hard to choose photos because there were so many sweet moments and great smiles. Not every little one has appreciated the cake smash portion of the session, but the bathtub has been a hit 99% of the time....I think I had a couple that weren't so sure LOL.
